I enjoyed the location and the grounds. It’s a beautiful place to stay

From the customer service to the location, everything about this hotel was exceptional. We had an amazing experience.

The room was clean, some drinks were complementary which was great. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The view was beautiful. Tv offered some channels in both English and Japanese. Staff was friendly. Distance to shops is reasonable.

Hallway was slightly warm but not unbearable.

We arrived in Yokohama after a trip of twenty-three hours (door-to-door), from the United States. If ever we needed to be pampered, this was the time! And, the Intercontinental Yokohama Pier 8 Hotel ensured that we were well taken care of, from the moment we checked in to when we checked out two nights later. The rooms are just gorgeous: nicely decorated, spacious, and super comfortable. With a separate high-end toilet room, a beautiful bathroom with a tub, a shower, and a vanity area, large comfortable beds (firm matresses), and two sitting areas. The location of the hotel is ideal. Pier 8 really has everything you need right there in the complex: a Starbucks, a 7-Eleven (with an exchange machine and an ATM), and multiple restaurants in what is best described as a small mall area on the second floor of the complex. Walking to the nearby attractions and malls just takes five to ten minutes. We also took a taxi to Chinatown, which was quick and inexpensive.For our first experience in Japan, the team at the Intercontinental Yokohama Pier 8 made sure that we were pampered and well rested for our upcoming three-weeks journey around the country!

Very friendly staff, who found rooms for our two early check ins.

The overall environment, e.g. wood frame, separate toilet room and bathroom. In addition to that, the entire facility is very clean and quiet.

It would be better if some soap is placed in the toilet room.

Loved the spacious room, the layout and especially the fancy toilet facility.

No towel rack in the shower area.

A little on the expensive side

Easily the best room in Yokohama. And for the price, if you are willing to stay outside of Tokyo, you'll get a massive room at a fraction of the price. I've stayed here 3x now and will return. We love this location and property when taking a visit to Yokohama.

Staff were professional and service oriented. Rooms were generous and many items in the mini bar were complimentary.

Location is not great if you are going to be using the train station a lot. Not many things in vicinity but there is a 7-11 and Starbucks just next to lobby.

I felt pampered and at home. Quiet, great location, and few was amazing.

Pleasant surrounding with a lovely view of the Bay.

During the 3 day stay, the area was hosting a sports event. Traffic was restricted and even the taxi we hailed refused to fetch us to the hotel, Regrettably, we had to personally lug our luggages from one InterCon to the other InterCon.

Nice views, comfortable rooms, quiet hotel, excellent staff. Nice fireworks one night.
